QALogger™ · Can't find your answer? Email support@qalogger.com
QALogger™ is a suite of 8 quality management micro-apps — each one a single HTML file that runs entirely in your browser. No cloud, no servers, no internet required after you first load the page. You use them to capture NCRs, CARs, calibration records, training records, supplier evaluations, audit findings, inspection releases, and management review minutes.
No. Once the page has loaded, QALogger™ works completely offline. This is by design — quality managers often work in manufacturing environments where Wi-Fi is unreliable. All your data saves to your device automatically. The app even shows a banner when you go offline to confirm it is still working.
All your records are stored in your browser's localStorage — on your own device. Your data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We cannot see it, access it, or retrieve it. It belongs entirely to you.
We strongly recommend using the built-in Backup button in each app regularly to download a JSON copy of your records to your computer. This protects you if your browser data is ever cleared.
No. QALogger™ is a recording tool — it helps you capture and organise the records that auditors ask to see. Whether those records are accurate, complete, and sufficient for certification is entirely your responsibility. We make no warranty of certification success.
When you subscribe, your card is saved securely by Stripe but not charged for 14 days. You get full access to all 8 apps immediately. If you cancel before day 15, you pay nothing. After 14 days, your chosen plan ($19/month or $190/year) begins automatically.
After checkout, Stripe redirects you straight to your library. From that point, your access code is shown on the library gate screen — you never need to remember it. Monthly subscribers use the current month's Marine Corps rank code (displayed on screen). Annual subscribers use today's 5-digit Julian date (also displayed on screen).
After checkout, Stripe redirects you straight to your library — all 8 apps are unlocked immediately. Your personal access code and instructions are provided at that point. The library gate screen always shows you exactly what to enter — nothing to memorise.
Annual subscribers receive a unique daily access code system along with a complimentary reference calendar. Full details and instructions are provided in your welcome email after subscribing. The library gate always shows your current code — you never have to guess.
You can cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal — no emails, no forms. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your access code will no longer work at the gate. Your records remain safely in your browser — cancelling does not delete any data. Make sure to download a Backup before you cancel if you want to preserve your records long-term.
Yes. QALogger™ is fully responsive and works on any device — iPhone, Android, iPad, Mac, PC, or any browser. You can also install it as a PWA (Progressive Web App) — on your phone, visit qalogger.com and tap "Add to Home Screen." It will open fullscreen like a native app with its own icon.
Every app has a Backup button in the header. Click it to download a JSON file containing all your records from that app. Store this file somewhere safe — an email to yourself, a USB drive, or cloud storage. To restore, use the Restore button and select your backup file.
Every app has a CSV button that downloads a spreadsheet of all your records — complete with metadata rows and all fields. There is also a PDF button (labelled ⎙) that prints the current view as a formatted PDF with a QALogger™ branded header. Both are accepted by auditors as evidence.
If you cleared your browser's localStorage, yes — records stored in that browser are gone. This is why we strongly recommend using the Backup button regularly. If you have a recent backup JSON file, you can restore your records immediately using the Restore button in any app.
Each subscription is licensed for one organisation. Team members within your organisation may use the same access code. However, because records save to each person's browser locally, each device maintains its own separate set of records. For a shared team record, designate one device as the primary device and use the CSV export to share records across the team.
QALogger™ works in all modern browsers — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on both desktop and mobile. Internet Explorer is not supported. For best results, use the latest version of your browser.
The library gate screen shows you your current code — look at the Monthly or Annual tab depending on your plan. If the displayed code isn't working, try refreshing the page. If you're still stuck, email support@qalogger.com and we'll sort it out quickly.
